South Sudanese officials rally Ugandan media to boost economic development
JUBA: A team of South Sudanese officials have rallied Ugandan media houses to promote the country as one of the best investment destinations in the region. Senior government officials from the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Uganda embarked on an initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to promote South Sudan’s visibility in trade and economic development within the region. The initiative aims to shed more light on the investment opportunities in the country and on the forthcoming General Elections scheduled for December 2024. Ugandan media houses were engaged in a five-day media tour from 11th – 15th March to showcase South Sudan’s significant achievements and highlight its potential as a key player in the East Africa.
