Kabaka Mutebi returns after months away

KAMPALA. Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has returned home following Namibia's refusal to extend his medical treatment stay, citing negative publicity. Initially granted a 90-day visa in April, the Namibian government did not prolong it due to suspicions of a plot he was abducted. Flying back to Uganda on Ethiopian Airways, the Kabaka's arrival was exclusively covered by Buganda's official broadcaster, BBS Television. Upon landing, he was welcomed by Buganda officials at the airport, including the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga and Nabagereka Lady Slyvia Nagginda. EXCLUSIVE: Kabaka Mutebi “admitted to Namibian mental health hospital”

GERMANY. Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has been admitted to a mental hospital in Namibia, according to a letter attributed to Martin Andjaba, the ambassador to Germany, which is circulating on social media. The letter dated May 24, 2024 mentions that Kabaka Mutebi arrived in Namibia on April 14 and is undergoing psychotherapy for an stress-related medical condition. While the authenticity of the letter remains unverified, our quick search confirmed the existence of the Okonguarrai Therapeutic Centre in Namibia, and that Andjaba is indeed Namibia’s ambassador to Germany. Exclusive: Kabaka Mutebi seen in Namibia park

KAMPALA. The first photo of Kabaka Ronald Mutebi has surfaced after a prolonged absence from public view. The photo copied from private social media users and shared by Mengo spokesperson Israel Kazibwe, depicts the Kabaka seated alongside a gentleman identified by a Facebook page-Agfa mu Lubiri as Ambassador Ndawula with the latter holding the Kabaka's arm.  The background suggests a remote, forested area which according to Mr. Kazibwe is a "game facility" in Namibia. Among visits Mengo, splashes shs50m for Kabaka birthday run

Parliament Speaker Anita Among and Deputy Thomas Tayebwa today morning led a team of MPs to Mengo, where they contributed towards the Kabaka's birthday run. KAMPALA: Buganda Kingdom has finally spoken out about the passing of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s Rwanda-based wife, Venetia Sebudandi. Daily Secrets broke the story of the death of Sebudandi, the mother of Prince Jjunju “Kiweewa” Suuna, who was pronounced dead by family members. “The family of Mr Andrew Sebudandi wishes to inform family and friends that our beloved mother, sister and aunty, Amb.
