On January 9, former National unity Platform Kawempe North Member of Parliament Mohammed Ssegirinya died. The public blamed a judge Lawrence Tweyanze for being used by the state to deny Ssegirinya bail to seek specialised medical care. KAMPALA: The former leader of the Forum for Democratic Change, Col (Rtd) Dr Kiiza Besigye has attacked President Yoweri Museveni’s government after thieves stole bunches of matooke from his plantation in Wakiso district. “Six large bunches of bananas (Matooke) were stolen from our small Kasangati garden last night!” Besigye posted on his social media handle on X, formerly Twitter. “This is why many people have resorted to sleeping in their gardens- guarding.
