Museveni, Mswati call for a unified Africa

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Maama Janet Museveni have today welcomed the King of Eswatini, His Majesty, Mswati III at Entebbe International Airport. His Majesty, Mswati III who is in Uganda for a three-day State Visit at the invitation of President Museveni was accompanied by his wife, Queen Inkhosikati Make Lamashwama and other high-level delegates. At Entebbe International Airport, President Museveni was flanked by Ministers and service chiefs. Upon arrival, the visiting King was accorded a 21-gun salute and inspected a guard of honour mounted by the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF). Ugandans in Southern Africa establish board of trustees after first convention

PRETORIA: The Ugandan High Commission in South Africa has announced the establishment of the 1st Interim Board of Trustees for the Confederation of Ugandans in Southern Africa (COUSA) following the successful closing ceremony of the 1st Ever Convention of Ugandans in Southern Africa. Paul Amoru, Uganda’s High Commissioner to South Africa, said the development marked a “significant milestone in our efforts to unite and empower the Ugandan community in Southern Africa”. COUSA was founded with the aim of fostering dialogue, information sharing, collaboration, and networking amongst Ugandans in Southern Africa. “Our objective is to enhance enterprise development, promote trade and investment, and celebrate the achievements of the Ugandan community in the region.
